Job Title: Spanish Teacher

Job Summary:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Spanish Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about language education, committed to helping students develop proficiency in speaking, reading, writing, and understanding Spanish, and dedicated to fostering cultural awareness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Spanish language lessons aligned with curriculum standards.
• Teach vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, reading comprehension, and conversational skills.
• Integrate Hispanic and Latin American cultural elements into lessons to enhance students global understanding.
• Utilize a variety of instructional strategies, including interactive activities, technology tools, and real-world applications.
• Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment.
• Maintain accurate student records, grades, and attendance.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support student learning and cross-curricular projects.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current in language teaching methodologies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Spanish, Education, or related field (Masters degree preferred).
• Teaching certification/licensure (as required by state/district).
• Proficiency in Spanish (native or near-native fluency).
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Experience teaching Spanish to various age groups preferred.

Work Environment:

• Classroom-based with occasional extracurricular or cultural events.
• May require evening or weekend participation in school activities.
