Job Title: Solar Installer

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated candidates near Mohave Valley, AZ to join a ground mount solar project for a duration of two months. This position involves shoveling, backfilling, raking, concrete work, as well as module and rack mounting. You will be utilizing small hand tools such as compactors, concrete saws, and drills. The role supports the construction management team in completing the mechanical installation of components on a solar carport system and occasionally on commercial rooftop solar installations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with material movement and logistics using light hand tools, including wrenches and screwdrivers.
• Support the mechanical installation of components on solar carport systems.
• Perform tasks such as shoveling, backfilling, raking, concrete work, and module and rack mounting.
• Use small hand tools including compactors, concrete saws, and drills.

Essential Skills

• 1+ years of construction experience.
• Mechanically inclined with installation skills.
• Acclimated to working in the Arizona summer heat.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and be on feet for 8-10 hours a day.
• Ability to take direction and use hand tools, including wrenches and screwdrivers.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Solar experience in some capacity is ideal but not required.
• Scissor lift experience is a huge plus.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr.
