JOB SUMMARY:
The Six Sigma Process Coordinator will work as an integral part of the Six Sigma Team to support internal Ohio CAT departments by creating and disseminating best practice process documentation and process training. The candidate for this position will also be trained in the Six Sigma Green Belt methodology and utilize this skillset for basic process analysis and process change implementation.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required, a bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
- Must have three years of professional-level experience, and preferably some accounting and systems background experience.
- Experience in documentation of processes, ISO certification, or auditing is preferred.
- A working knowledge of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint is required, and previous experience with photo editing or video editing software is a plus.
KEY COMPETENCIES:
- Must be able to translate a real-world process into documentation in the form of procedures, work instructions, job aids, forms, or instructional videos in an easily understandable format.
- Basic data and process analysis skills as well as the ability to communicate using PowerPoint and e-mail executive summaries.
- The ideal candidate will exhibit exemplary standards of integrity, personal work ethic, and continuous involvement in self-education and development.
- Must also exhibit customer-focused behavior and be able to establish working relationships with employees at multiple different levels of the organization.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight; to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard; and to verbally communicate to exchange information The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in office settings and moderate to loud in other situations, with both constant and sudden loud noises possible. Must be able to lift 20 pounds.
