Description:
Performs various entry level fabrication processes and assembly of parts or pieces utilizing basic fabrication equipment. Such as roll forming, spot welding, riveting and staking equipment. Is required read and interpret existing blueprints.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Responsible to ensure that the work area is kept clean, organized, and safe.
• Performs mathematical and analytic skills to read and interpret blueprints.
• Assist in other areas of fabrication
• Routinely reviews equipment to ensure preventive maintenance is performed according to schedule.
• Use and read measuring instruments (i.e. Calipers, measuring tape, etc.)
• Performs safety and housekeeping activities.
Requirements:Additional Information/Details:
Education and Experience:
Education: HS Diploma, equivalent certification or work experience.
Experience: Entry-level, prefer one year experience operating metal fabrication equipment or welding. Mig and/or Tig welding strongly preferred.
