Reporting to the Sr. Director, Supply Chain, the Sr. Manager, Global Supply Chain Excellence will be responsible for directly/indirectly leading teams which provide exceptional value to improve operations. This will be accomplished by leading and managing short and long-term projects that improve efficiency, develop compliant standards, eliminate waste, and reduce cost on a global scale.

This role will specifically establish best practices and create strategies, tools, systems, and processes by driving continuous improvement activities around procurement, distribution, business continuity management, sustainability and trade compliance for the Supply Chain Organization.

Core Responsibilities:

* Lead the global implementation and ongoing improvement of the supply chain elements of the Littelfuse Operating System to enable excellence in business performance in Supply Chain. (20%)

* Partner with leaders in procurement, supply chain, operations, and our business units to create both strategic and tactical plans to ensure we are delivering year-over-year cost reductions. (35%)

* Oversee the deployment & implementation of approved tools/systems and ensure that consistent/standardized processes are maintained across the supply chain. (45%)

Secondary Responsibilities:

* You will coordinate activity around crisis management and business continuity globally by working with our external partners and business units.

* You will lead the global deployment and maintenance of a supply chain dashboard that incorporates all our standard metrics and work with the regional teams to establish and execute improvement strategies.

* You will establish global best practice standards and tools as well as train, coach and support their institutionalization and use by the organization.

Education Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, or Supply Chain plus a minimum of 8-10 years Supply Chain experience; focus on development of skills in continuous improvement, quality and/or operations process improvement.

* Master's Degree preferred: Business or Engineering or Supply Chain (plus)

Experience/Skills:

* Demonstrated ability to influence leaders and teams to positive results within a matrix organization.

* Strong background in supply chain process improvement, LEAN methodologies, and Six Sigma approach.

* Excellent written and oral communication skills.

* Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to build business partnerships, strong teams and develop talent.
