Chenega Services & Federal Solutions, LLC, a Chenega Professional Services ’ company, is looking for a Senior IT Consultant to join our team of IT experts at the Federal Housing Finance Agency's (FHFA) Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO). As a member of our advanced engineering team, you will provide expert-level consulting services for complex enterprise infrastructure issues across multiple cross-functional areas. You will work closely with various teams, including AI Services, Cloud Services, Cybersecurity, IT Operations, Program Management, Network Engineering and Administration, Disaster Recovery, Data Center Operations, Cloud Engineering, Data Architecture, and Data Engineering.

Responsibilities

  • Expert-Level Consulting: Provide expert-level consulting services for complex US federal enterprise infrastructure issues across multiple cross-functional areas.
  • Deep Expertise: Leverage deep federal IT expertise to advise on highly technical problems in AI Services, Cloud Services, Cybersecurity, IT Operations, Program Management, Network Engineering and Administration, Disaster Recovery, Data Center Operations, Cloud Engineering, Data Architecture, and Data Engineering domains.
  • Agility and Flexibility: Demonstrate agility and flexibility to pivot from a given plan and refocus resources as needed to address changing priorities and emerging issues.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various teams across the agency to identify and resolve complex technical problems.
  • Staying Current: Stay current with emerging technologies, trends, and innovations in AI Services, Cloud Services, Cybersecurity, IT Operations, Program Management, Network Engineering and Administration, Disaster Recovery, Data Center Operations, Cloud Engineering, Data Architecture, and Data Engineering domains.
  • Communication and Documentation: Effectively communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders while maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation of systems, processes, and solutions.

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience as a senior IT professional.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in designing, architecting, implementing, and maintaining complex enterprise IT systems across multiple cross-functional areas.
  • Proven expertise in AI Services, Cloud Services, Cybersecurity, IT Operations, Program Management, Network Engineering and Administration, Disaster Recovery, Data Center Operations, Cloud Engineering, Data Architecture, and Data Engineering domains.
  • Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, scalability, availability, and disaster recovery principles.
  • ITIL Foundations
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional.
  • Microsoft Azure Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
  • Other relevant certifications in Cloud Computing, Cybersecurity, Data Architecture, and Data Engineering.
  • Experience with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Docker) preferred.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Kubernetes) preferred.
  • Knowledge of data engineering concepts and data warehousing principles preferred.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and execute on a day to day basis, while employing a hands on approach.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Final salary determination based on skill-set, qualifications, and approved funding.
