As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal in an educational environment, you will actively monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents and provide a welcoming presence. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, staying visible throughout the location, and delivering outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide excellent customer service to individuals on site by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergencies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including the buildings and perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity in the area to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious behavior.
• Document and report any incidents, observations, or concerns according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Communicate clearly with staff, visitors, and/or students as needed, maintaining a professional presence at all times.
• Support emergency response efforts in accordance with site-specific guidelines and Allied Universal procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
