Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and filing a variety of tax returns. You will work directly with clients to gather necessary documentation, provide exceptional customer service, and ensure accurate and timely filings.
Prepare and file individual, corporate, partnership, and other tax returns.
Communicate with clients to gather all necessary tax documents and answer questions.
Calculate taxes owed or refunds due in accordance with current tax laws and regulations.
Stay up-to-date on tax laws and research changes to ensure compliance.
Support junior team members and interns.
Collaborate with team members on various projects.
Adapt to new processes and shifting priorities to meet client needs.
Qualifications
3-5 years of tax return preparation experience.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.).
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
A CPA or Enrolled Agent (EA) license is preferred, but not required.
