Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Install and configure SAP applications and NetWeaver Suite of products within the SAP system landscape.
• Manage system copies, upgrades, patching, and migrations across SAP landscapes.
• Work closely with security teams to implement role-based access controls (RBAC) and authorization policies.
• Administer SAP Transport Management System (TMS) for system changes and deployments.
• Ensure high availability, backup, and disaster recovery for SAP systems.
• Monitor system health using SAP Solution Manager (SolMan) and other monitoring tools.
• Perform Oracle Database table space administration, resize, reorganization & Implementation of Database Patches
• Implement SAP OSS notes, kernel patches, support packages, add-ons, and SAP software component upgrades.
• Ensure a secure SAP environment by following SAP best practices and client security requirements.
• Set up and manage Secure File Transfer (SFT) for secure data exchange between SAP and external systems.
• Document best practices, configurations, and troubleshooting guidelines.
• Take ownership of project tasks, ensuring timely and effective completion.
• Identify and analyze key factors influencing system performance and propose effective solutions.
• Utilize analytical and decision-making skills to identify and resolve technical issues.
• Collaborate with SAP, external partners, and customer teams to ensure successful project completion.
• Continuously enhance existing skills and seek opportunities for professional development.
• Report to and work under the guidance of the SAP Basis Technical Lead and Project Manager.

• 3+ years of hands-on SAP Basis experience.
• Strong knowledge and technical expertise in SAP ECC, SAP BW, SAP BI, and SAP Fiori.
• Experience with installations, upgrades, and monitoring of SAP NetWeaver Suite on Windows/Unix platforms with Oracle or other databases.
• Strong understanding of ECC and NetWeaver Solution architecture, use cases, Integration with SAP and Non-SAP systems
• Hands-on experience with SAP Transport Management System (TMS).
• Understanding of SAP authentication, SSO integration (Kerberos), and security configurations.
• Experience in conducting performance testing using LoadRunner to analyze system bottlenecks and optimize performance (preferred).
• SAP Basis and OS/DB certifications (preferred).
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
