Looking for a skilled and motivated professional to join ALH Building Systems in Markle, IN, US as a Sales & Business Development Manager. Our company is a top producer of structural wood framing components, providing solutions for various projects. We are in need of an individual who can drive sales, create business strategies, and supervise project outcomes by fostering solid relationships with clients and on-site teams. Effective communication is key at all stages of construction with colleagues, construction companies, and craftsmen. We seek an innovative candidate with a solid foundation in construction sales and project management. Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute strategic plans to source and secure new leads, expand the customer base, and achieve sales targets
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients by providing consistent, high-quality service and support
• Conduct in-office and field meetings with potential and existing customers to discuss their framing needs and propose tailored solutions
• Collaborate with framing crews and other key stakeholders to monitor project progress, address any issues, and ensure completion within the set timelines and budget
• Understand industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscape to inform sales strategies and business decisions
• Work closely with the design and estimating teams to ensure accurate project proposals, quotes, and contracts
• Provide leadership and direction to the sales team, setting clear goals and performance metrics to drive accountability and results

• A bachelor's degree in business, construction management, or a related field
• Experience in sales within the construction industry, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets
• Strong understanding of wood framing construction processes, materials, and market requirements
• Wood Species Identification: Recognizing different species of wood and understanding their unique characteristics and typical uses
• Measurement and Dimensions: Proficiency in measuring lumber, including knowledge of board feet, linear feet, thickness, width, and length
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with an ability to build rapport with clients and team members
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Willingness to travel as required for client meetings and site visits
