We currently have an opportunity for an RN to join our nursing team as a *RN Night Supervisor* at our Presbyterian Home & Retirement Community (CCRC) campus in Quitman, GA. The campus is conveniently located between Thomasville and Valdosta.
The *RN Night Supervisor* is responsible for providing leadership, guidance and assistance to facility nursing staff during the night shift. This helps to ensure that our nursing team are supported.
You will work under the supervision of the Director or Nursing and Assistant DON.

The ideal candidate will be experienced in providing diverse nursing care to patients/residents while remaining patient and calm. It is a demanding job but also very rewarding.
*Responsibilities (overview):*
* Provide proper leadership (supervision, support and guidance) to the facility Nursing department team.
* Being welling to jump in and assist with providing resident care if needed.
* Ensure that staff are providing quality care and services according to nursing standards, policies and regulations.
* Being available to assist staff through difficult situations, answer questions, as well as to provide any other assistance needed to ensure residents receive high quality care and services.
* Provide emotional and psychological support when needed.
* Communicate with residents’ family to provide advice, comfort and release instructions.
*Skills (overview):*
* Proven experience as a RN
* Ability to provide supportive leadership and guidance to the nursing team
* Ability to undertake a variety of diverse care tasks and work in a multidisciplinary team
* Familiarity with long-term care/hospital health, safety and sanitation standards and procedures
* Understanding of confidentiality obligations and nursing best practices
* Excellent knowledge of medical, long-term care and hospital terminology
* Good knowledge of MS Office and data entry
* Perfect physical condition and stamina
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Compassionate and able to handle stressful situations in a positive and professional manner
* Current & active RN license is required
