Mamasitas Mexican Grill is a friendly, fast-paced restaurant focused on great service and a welcoming atmosphere. We’re looking for an upbeat and reliable Host/Hostess to join our team and help create an excellent guest experience.
✨ Position Overview
The Host/Hostess is the first and last point of contact for guests. This role includes greeting and seating customers, handling payments, managing takeout orders, and supporting the front-of-house team to ensure smooth operations.
️ Key Responsibilities
Greet guests with a warm, friendly attitude
Manage seating, waitlists, and reservations
Answer phones and assist with takeout or pickup orders
Operate the POS system to process payments accurately
Maintain cleanliness and organization at the front desk
Communicate with servers and kitchen staff about guest flow
Provide excellent customer service to all guests
Qualifications
Customer service experience preferred
Positive attitude and strong communication skills
Ability to multitask in a busy environment
Basic math and cash-handling skills
Ability to work varied shifts between the hours of 10:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. Sunday through Friday
