Job Description

COMPANY OVERVIEW:

Amelia Island Getaways (AIG) is a locally owned vacation rental company built on hospitality, heart, and high standards. Founded by a husband-and-wife team, AIG began with a clear mission: to deliver exceptional guest experiences while helping homeowners maximize the value of their investments. We manage a thoughtfully curated portfolio of properties with hands-on care and a commitment to excellence.

What sets us apart is our personal approach, deep local roots, and proven industry expertise. We know this island, the vacation rental market, and what it takes to create a five-star experience—bringing valuable insight into every interaction. Our team is passionate about maximizing revenue for owners while maintaining the highest standards of quality, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction.

We’re proud to offer a full-service, small-business experience that blends big-picture thinking with day-to-day execution. At AIG, we move quickly, adapt easily, and care deeply. If you love a good challenge, know how to lead with confidence, and want to make a real impact, you’ll feel right at home with us.

Apply to join our team and let's make vacation dreams a reality, one stay at a time.

POSITION SUMMARY:

We’re looking for a highly organized, dependable, and service-minded individual to join our team as a Reservations Agent . This in-office role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys variety in their day, and wants to be part of a close-knit team that delivers exceptional guest experiences.

You’ll serve as the friendly voice and face of Amelia Island Getaways—handling reservations, answering guest inquiries, and supporting the daily operations that keep our company running smoothly. This includes welcoming walk-in guests and owners, coordinating vendor visits, organizing shipments, running local errands, and helping to maintain an organized, well-stocked office.

If you’re detail-oriented, customer-focused, and eager to make a difference behind the scenes and on the front lines, we’d love to hear from you.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Answer guest and owner calls, emails, and texts with professionalism and care
  • Provide pre-arrival planning and real-time support for guests
  • Schedule and dispatch housekeeping, maintenance, and inspections
  • Use property management software to track guest communication and service tickets
  • Occasionally assist guests onsite, including delivering items to the property
  • Coordinate lost & found shipments, charge applicable fees, and close out related tasks
  • Greet walk-in guests, vendors, and owners in the office
  • Step in to assist with property inspections if a team member is unavailable
  • Prioritize tasks based on guest urgency, property readiness, and office needs
  • Keep the office clean, organized, and well-stocked with supplies
  • Manage packages, inventory, and shipments
  • Run local errands (e.g., supply pick-ups, post office, bank)

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1-2 years of previous experience in hospitality, customer service, or office coordination
  • Local to Amelia Island or surrounding area with reliable transportation
  • Friendly, adaptable, and able to handle a wide range of tasks independently
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Comfortable using technology and learning new platforms (PMS, messaging tools)
  • Excellent communication skills—phone, email, in person
  • "No job is beneath me" mindset—willing to pitch in wherever needed
  • Able to perform the physical requirements of the role, including sitting for extended periods, occasional lifting (up to 25 lbs), and light office movement; reasonable accommodations can be made
