We are seeking a self-motivated, detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst to join our dynamic team. This is a unique opportunity to work remotely in a fast-paced environment where you will play a critical role in enhancing our financial performance and facilitating the company's growth. As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting detailed financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning to drive business decisions. You will also utilize your financial management and accounting skills to improve financial reporting and modeling processes. This position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct comprehensive financial analysis and modeling to support strategic initiatives and business decisions.
2. Develop and maintain sophisticated financial forecasting models to predict revenue, gross profit, and cash flow.
3. Prepare detailed budget plans and monitor the company's financial performance against the budget.
4. Conduct financial auditing to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial regulations and standards.
5. Develop and implement financial strategies to optimize financial utilization and drive business growth.
6. Leverage advanced Excel skills and other financial software like NetSuite, Datarails, and HubSpot for data analysis and financial reporting.
7. Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, highlighting key trends and providing recommendations for improvement.
8. Conduct ad hoc analysis as required to support specific business needs and projects.
9. Calculate and analyze ROI for various business initiatives.
10. Develop and implement automation processes to improve financial reporting efficiency.
11. Work closely with other departments to understand their financial needs and provide appropriate solutions.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
2. Minimum of 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning.
3. Strong knowledge of financial accounting and management principles.
4. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial software like NetSuite, Datarails, and HubSpot.
5. Experience in the rental and railroad industry is a plus.
6. Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
7. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
8. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
9. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
10. Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality.
11. Proven track record of driving process improvements and financial performance.
