Overview:

• Schedule : 7P-7A, night shift, PRN . PRN is not committed to a set schedule or guaranteed hours, but the minimum requirement for this unit to remain active is to work at least 3 shifts within 6 weeks, along with 1 major and 1 minor holiday and this opening is for night shift.
• Department : Family Care Unit
• Location : Thomasville Medical Center – Thomasville, NC
• Unit Information : The unit specializes in women's health care including labor & delivery (L&D) , post partum/mother baby care, OB/GYN & pediatrics. 20 bed unit, there are 5 L&D beds, and 15 beds for post partum, antepartum, GYN & pediatrics. Staff are cross trained to all aspects.
• Candidates must have at least one year of L&D experience for this PRN position.

• Education : High School Diploma or GED, required. 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.
• Experience : One year relevant experience, preferred.
• Licensure/Certification :
  • Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required.
