This position is based in the Midwest and offers a salary range of $133,000 to $139,000 per year. Position Overview POAH Communities is dedicated to community development and preserving affordable rental housing. As the Regional Director of Facilities, you will oversee maintenance, safety, and environmental initiatives across our Midwest portfolios, reporting to the Senior Vice President/Chief Operating Officer. Key Responsibilities Develop and manage maintenance policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and safety standards. Perform due diligence, safety assessments, and property audits. Coordinate capital planning and manage multiple projects remotely. Conduct inspections and prepare sites for reviews. Train maintenance staff and develop safety programs. Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and purchases. Oversee compliance with building codes, HUD, OSHA, and other regulations. Interpret financial statements and oversee budgeting related to property maintenance. Qualifications B.A. or B.S. preferred; some post-secondary education. At least 10 years of experience in property or asset management. Proficiency in Word, Excel, Yardi, and relevant software. Knowledge of HUD regulations, low-income housing tax credits, and building codes. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
