Job Description for the Property Accountant:

Our Client is seeking a detail-oriented Property Accountant to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the financial operations of our property portfolio, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance.

Key Responsibilities for the Property Accountant:

• Prepare and maintain financial statements for multiple properties, including balance sheets and income statements.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely invoicing and collections.
• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts related to property operations.
• Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process for assigned properties.
• Monitor and report on property performance, providing insights to management.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
• Collaborate with property managers to support operational and financial decision-making.

Qualifications for the Property Accountant:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in real estate or property management.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
