About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Experience Designer to drive the visual and interaction design of our New Technology Suite. This role is central to shaping the user experience of our customer-facing tools, ensuring every product reflects our design system, brand standards, and a world-class level of polish. You will collaborate with cross-functional partners, influence product direction, and advocate for design excellence at the leadership level.
This is a senior hands-on role for a design leader who combines strategic thinking with expert execution across usability, interaction, and visual design.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the visual and interaction design for the New Technology Suite, ensuring alignment with design system and brand standards.
- Partner with developers to translate design concepts into high-quality, customer-facing products.
- Create user flows, wireframes, mockups, and high-fidelity designs that balance user needs with business goals.
- Support the rollout and refinement of scalable design patterns that improve usability, clarity, and consistency.
- Contribute to the evolution and maintenance of the company’s design system.
- Manage design deliverables throughout the full project lifecycle, from exploration through final handoff.
- Collaborate with the Creative Director to deliver a cohesive and elevated experience across the platform.
- Advocate for design strategy and champion the value of design in shaping product direction.
Must-Have Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience designing digital products, ideally consumer-facing.
- Strong portfolio showcasing elegant UI, expert-level usability, and complex shipped projects that demonstrate depth of solutions.
- Expert-level visual design skills with a keen eye for detail and execution.
- Proficiency in Figma (and comparable tools), with experience contributing to or building design systems.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to design for scale and long-term product growth.
- Proven ability to shape large-scale initiatives, influence product direction, and advocate for design at the leadership level.
- Strong time management skills, with the ability to deliver polished work under tight timelines.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to integrate feedback effectively.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Experience working on large-scale platforms or multi-product ecosystems.
- Familiarity with emerging technologies and their impact on design best practices.
- Background collaborating with highly technical development teams on complex systems.
