Description:
• Seeking a detail-oriented Gas Transmission Pipeline Integrity Engineer to ensure the safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance of gas transmission pipelines through integrity programs, risk assessments, and engineering analyses.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain TIMP programs per 49 CFR 192 Subpart O .
• Perform risk modeling, threat analysis, and integrity assessments.
• Manage in-line inspection (ILI) projects, including data analysis, dig selection, and run validation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on pipeline projects and infrastructure planning.
• Review pipeline designs and work order documentation.
• Analyze inspection data (smart pigging, UT, corrosion monitoring) and recommend mitigations.
• Ensure compliance with ASME B31.8 , API 1160 , and regulatory requirements.
• Support audits, regulatory requests, and integrity performance reporting.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, Industrial, or Petroleum Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of pipeline integrity, compliance, or utility design experience.
• Knowledge of pipeline inspection techniques and integrity assessment methods.
• Strong understanding of federal regulations and industry standards.
• Proficiency with data analysis tools and GIS software (e.g., ArcMap, MS Access).
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and project management abilities.
