Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Picker/Packer to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to accurately and promptly pick and pack orders using our automated pick system for the jail commissary. The ideal candidate will ensure that all items are correctly picked, packed, and prepared for shipment, adhering to our quality and safety standards.

Requirements:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate the automated pick system to fulfill orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Retrieve and pack items according to order specifications.
  • Ensure all orders are correctly labeled and prepared for shipment.
  • Regularly lift and move products, with weights up to 7 pounds.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Assist with inventory management, including restocking and organizing products as needed.
  • Communicate any issues or discrepancies to the Fulfillment Manager.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in a warehouse or order fulfillment environment is a plus.
  • Ability to lift at least 7 pounds regularly.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Familiarity with automated picking systems is an advantage.

Working Conditions:

  • Warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures.
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, and lift during the shift.
  • May be required to work overtime or flexible hours based on business needs.
