Duties And Responsibilities Include The Following Plan and develop rigorous and engaging classroom lessons centered around classical education principles. Review and dissect data to identify areas of student growth. Provide all students, regardless of socio-economic status, the highest quality education that is typically reserved only for the brightest or wealthiest in our society. Hold all members of our school community to high expectations in our collective pursuit of truth, beauty, and goodness, grounded in timeless moral principles. Elevate classroom learning to develop students’ sense of wonder and a love of learning. Create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning, and develops a culture of excellence. Work cooperatively with True North’s instructional coaches to learn from feedback and improve the quality of instruction. Communicate with parents regularly regarding all aspects of their child’s performance and make provisions for being available outside normal hours; work with parents to encourage participation in their child’s learning experiences. Desired Skills & Experience Bachelor's, Master’s, or Doctorate degree from a fully accredited college or university. Fluency in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Certification is not required to teach at True North. Candidates must be familiar with and align with the classical liberal arts curriculum and philosophy employed at True North Classical Academy. Compensation and Benefits Competitive Compensation: Starting salary for new teachers begins at $52,470, with adjustments based on experience and expertise. Additional compensation includes: Master’s supplement: $3,410 Doctorate supplement: $7,920 Comprehensive Benefits: Health, dental, and vision insurance; 401K retirement plan.
