Job Description
St. Peters Health Partners Medical Associates seeks to recruit a fellowship-trained, Board-Certified Headache Specialist to join our outstanding and well-established MS Headache practice located in Albany, NY.
The Headache Specialist will work in an outpatient setting joining an established practice providing MS & Headache Medicine care.
The role will enjoy close collaboration with a large team of internal specialists and robust primary care network. We offer a supportive practice environment with established patient bases with strong demand.
Hospital-employed position
Physician-led and governed Board of Directors

Strong Advanced Practitioner support
M-F 8:30 am-4:30 pm with 1:4 call 8:00 am-9:00 pm (no calls after 9:00 pm). No weekends.
Not accepting Locums candidates
Accepting upcoming 2025 fellowship graduate candidates
Open to H-1B visa candidates, but cannot accept J-1 waivers
Client cannot clear local candidates within 30 miles of their institutions.
Compensation and Benefits:
Compensation: - with incentives. The posted salary reflects the starting range of total compensation and does not include productivity bonuses, incentives related to quality and performance, extra shift incentives, and other forms of cash compensation as applicable to the position. In addition, providers typically receive a CME allowance and other benefits offered by their medical group employer. Please note that this salary range is provided in accordance with State law and is subject to variation due to the factors noted above.

Relocation Allowance, if applicable: The amount is determined by the distance they are moving from to the facility. It is a reimbursement-based system. Providers receive the amount in their contract, and they can submit receipts for reimbursement up to that amount.

Board Certified in Neurology - REQUIRED
Board Eligible (within 5 years of eligibility) or Board Certified in Headache Medicine - REQUIRED
Fellowship training in Headache (to be completed prior to start) - REQUIRED
NY license (or willing to obtain) - REQUIRED
DEA (or willing to obtain) - REQUIRED
