We are on the hunt for a dynamic and experienced Payroll Specialist to join our vibrant team. As a C Payroll Specialist, you will be a vital cog in our organization, ensuring the smooth operation of our payroll processes and systems. This is a unique opportunity for someone who is passionate about payroll and wants to utilize their expertise in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll, with a particular focus on Garnishments and Paylocity.
Responsibilities:
As a Payroll Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Administering accurate and timely payroll processing for employees in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
2. Handling all aspects of garnishments, including processing, tracking, and liaising with relevant parties to ensure accurate and timely resolution.
3. Utilizing Paylocity for payroll processing, reports generation, and data analysis.
4. Assisting with payroll-related inquiries from employees and management, providing prompt and accurate responses.
5. Conducting regular audits of payroll data to ensure accuracy and compliance.
6. Collaborating with the HR and Accounting teams to ensure seamless integration of payroll data with other systems.
7. Providing payroll-related consulting services to clients, including advice on payroll best practices, compliance issues, and system optimization.
8. Staying up-to-date with the latest payroll trends, technologies, and regulations to ensure the company's payroll processes remain current and compliant.
Qualifications:
To be considered for the Consulting Payroll Specialist position, candidates should possess the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll, with a focus on Garnishments and Paylocity.
2. A deep understanding of payroll-related regulations and compliance requirements at the federal, state, and local levels.
3. Proficiency in using payroll software, particularly Paylocity.
4. Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
5. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex payroll issues.
6. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex payroll information to non-experts.
7. A proactive approach to work, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
8. A professional certification in payroll (e.g., Certified Payroll Professional) is highly desirable.
