Levity is expanding our part time DJ team! We are a diverse group of professional wedding DJs seeking reliable and energetic individuals who aren't afraid to work 20-30 events per year.

Pay/Benefits

• Surrounded by tons of flirty singles at every event
• Paid Vacation
• $400-$800 payment per event PLUS tips and bonuses
• $16.5/hr for training
• Paid training and job shadowing
• $50 Bonus on 5 star customer reviews
• 10% Total contract bonus for referrals/bringing business to us.
• 100% Equipment provided to perform (You need to provide your own transportation and clothing)

Job Duties

• Working 8-12 hours per gig
• Communicating and meeting with clients face to face 1-2 weeks before their event
• Checking out and checking in sound/lighting equipment from our NKC location before and after each event
• Setting up/breaking down sound/lighting equipment
• Preparing set lists
• Playing good song requests
• Ignoring bad song requests
• Making announcements, introductions, running games/activities and generally "working the crowd".
• Dealing with the occasional "mean drunk"
• Dealing with the more common "fun drunk"

Requirements

• Reliable and insured transportation to haul equipment
• RELIABLE (such as a strong work history)
• STRONG communication skills
• Availability to work seasonally on Saturdays (some Fridays/Sundays too)
• 60% of our work happens on just 22 Saturdays each year (April, May, June, September, October) - if you're unable or unwilling to work when events are happening, please hold off on submitting your application until your availability changes
• Available to train Tuesday/Thursday evenings and Saturdays
• Pass a background check
• Be 18 years old or older
• Able to lift >50lbs
• No experience necessary - will train the right person
• Fun and energetic personality
• Ability to learn new software programs
• (We can fit our entire sound system in the back of a Ford Fiesta)
• Totally *not* a serial killer.
