• Competitive Pay:
  • Average earnings of $443 per week, totaling $23,036 annually
  • Starting pay at $22.15 per hour
  • Top pay of $23.15 per hour reached after 6 months
  • Average work hours of 20-25 hours per week
• Home daily
• Work Monday to Friday with occasional Saturday shifts
• Flexible shifts as this is a fill-in position; on-call availability is required
• Combination of local deliveries and yard switching, primarily hauling steel to and from Knoxville, TN

Requirements:

• Must reside within a 75-mile radius
• 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience within the last 3 years
• Valid Class A CDL
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• No convictions for reckless driving within the past 5 years
• No convictions for DUI within the past 5 years
• No suspensions or revocations within the last 5 years
• No serious violations in the previous 12 months
• No more than 3 moving violations within the past 3 years
• No preventable DOT recordable accidents within the past 3 years

Essential Functions:

• Open/Close trailer doors (force requirement: 46 lbs)
• Count freight
• Complete fuel tickets
• Obtain sales leads
• Hook/Unhook trailers (force requirement: 90 lbs, Class A only)
• Perform pre-trip inspections
• Drive
• Regular attendance
• Enter/Exit a Commercial Motor Vehicle
• Enter/Exit the rear of a trailer from ground level
