In business since 1971, RED-WHITE VALVE CORP. is a supplier of valves for the plumbing, industrial, commercial and HVAC markets.
Location: Lake Forest, California
Hours: 6:30AM – 3:00PM
(Overtime as needed)
Additional Perks
We are looking for an energetic Order Picker / Order Packer to assist in preparing orders for shipping.
As an Order Picker will use Picking Sheets to pull a wide variety of Plumbing and HVAC valves. As an Order Packer you will package and ship the order.
Candidate must perform at a high level of accuracy.
Job Duties:
Outgoing Shipments
o Prepare and ship merchandise to RWVC customers
o Prepare and complete necessary paper work for the billing department, noting freight carrier, freight charge, shipping weight, shipped quantities, etc.
o Track shipments when required
Inventory Control
o Prepare and carry out Annual Physical Inventory of product
o Maintaining inventory control files
o Exchanging parts on valves, such as handle, stem, disc etc. in accordance with requirements
Other Duties
o Maintain equipment, tools, shipping materials, fluorescent lamps etc.
o Assist in keeping the warehouse area in an orderly manner
o Assist Warehouse Manager and Assistant Warehouse Manager with other duties as required
Qualifications
· High School Graduate or equivalent
· Must be able to walk/stand for 8 hours
· Must be able to lift 60 LBS.
· Must have 1+ years’ work experience in a similar role
· Must be able to read and write English and do basic math (add, subtract, multiply, divide)
· Must be able to observe all safety precautions and safety rules
· Must be punctual
· Forklift experience is a plus but not required
· Cherry Picker experience is a plus but not required
