Our wonderful optician has been passionate about providing excellent patient care for over 40 years! Sadly, she has now decided to retire, so we’re looking for a dedicated and experienced optician to join our team.

Responsibilities:

• The optician's role is crucial in helping patients achieve their best vision by fitting them with the highest quality eyewear.
• Assist patients with personalized frame selection and lens options.
• Knowledge of optics, optical materials, products and technology is essential.
• Outstanding communication skills are a must.
• Must be able to troubleshoot and solve problems in a busy environment.
• Manage frame board and inventory effectively.

Qualifications:

• Valid optician license preferred.
• Strong communication and excellent customer service skills are a must.
• Experience in a retail optometry setting welcomed.

Benefits

• Salary range: $40,000 - $48,000 per year (plus commission) DOE with ability to go higher for highly experienced candidates.
