Currently a top 5 seller on Amazon, we boast over 1,150 global employees that span over 22 global locations, with 9 global distribution centers that sell in 60 countries.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesOversee shift management and their teams of 80-150 workers total; oversee management staff of 4-5Assist in operations by working with General Manager, Assistant General Manager, and Operations Manager on other shiftPre-shift meeting with management team to plan for shiftResponsible for ensuring that shift meets production goals and direct/indirect labor targetsSend out shift report showing how the shift was executed along with details communicating why the team was able/not able to achieve its goalProvide guidance and support to supervisors with respect to personnel, quality, and safetyResolve employee relations matters and conflicts working with HR to develop sustainable solutionsDaily meetings with team as well as direct reports to ensure changes, policies, and procedure updates are communicatedFacilitate open communication between 1st and 3rd shift and between departments on shift to ensure teamwork to achieve common goalPromote a positive work environment through excellent verbal communication, listening, and promoting company standardsCreate and implement a daily shift planner to ensure maximum efficiency and proper coverage for all departmentsDevelop and implement operating methods and procedures designed to eliminate operating problems and improve process qualityCoordinate distribution activities to obtain optimum utilization of human resources, warehouse management system and equipmentHelp contributors understand and connect to our vision, mission, strategy and business prioritiesEnsure the safety of all team members by teaching, promoting, and exemplifying safety guidelinesOvertime during peak periods (Additional 8-hour shift on Sunday nights)QualificationsAt least 5 years in supervisory role, preferably with a focus in a distribution center/warehouse environmentMinimum of 1-2 years of operations experience in a warehouse/distribution, logistics environmentMust be able to display effective communication to associate, management and executive staff membersPrior experience creating and executing a shift planUnderstanding of basic math and excel formulasUnderstands how important process control is to the businessFlexible- Embraces ChangeProblem SolverFamiliar with Warehouse Management Software to track and solve problems with ordersProficient use of Microsoft Office, including Excel, as well as Google Suite, GmailPrevious experience/knowledge of Workday preferredAbility to maintain confidentialityAbility to follow procedure, practice sound judgment and practice a fair and consistent management stylePhysical DemandsAble to stand/walk for up to 8-12 hoursAble to push/pull, bend, lift, stretch and reach both below the waist and above the headAbility to lift up to 50 lbsBenefitsMedical PPO and HSA with employer match plan optionsDental, Vision, STD, Supplemental Insurance plansCompany Paid LTD and Life Insurance401K match - Match 100% up to 3%, and 50% from 3.1% - 5%4 weeks of PTO, accrued semi-monthly8 company paid holidaysPaid bereavementStocked marketplace with late-night meal optionsProduct GiveawaysShift Details3rd shiftShift Days:Monday night - Thursday nightShift Hours:Overtime vs. Regular scheduleRegular Schedule:8:00 pm - 6:30 amOvertime:Add 8-hour Sunday night shift 10:00 pm - 6:30 amThis position will be required to arrive at least 30-minutes before start of shift to run a pre-shift meetingReach is an equal opportunity employer.
