Leidos QTC Health Services and our affiliated medical professional corporations (“PCs”), Jamshid Tamiry, M.D., P.C., dba QTC Medical Group of Alaska, collaborate closely with government and non-government customers to address current and future program needs within the health services domain. In coordination with the PCs, we specialize in disability-focused medical examinations, independent medical exams and review services, occupational health services, diagnostic testing, and case management solutions. As innovators, we focus on advancing technologies that improve service delivery, with a particular emphasis on enhancing accessibility for examinees in rural communities. With a proven track record of continuous improvement and steady growth, we now handle over 2 million appointments annually.

We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner at our  Missoula, MT clinic to help ensure our service members get the best care possible. You will play a vital role in the continued care of these men and women. 

Your Role Jamshid Tamiry, M.D., P.C., dba QTC Medical Group of Alaska:

As a Nurse Practitioner with Jamshid Tamiry, M.D., P.C., dba QTC Medical Group of Alaska, a Leidos QTC Health Service affiliated professional corporation, you will conduct a variety of general medicine, occupational, and disability health examinations including, but not limited to:

• Reviewing medical history and associated records
\n
• Interpreting clinical data
\n
• Completing written reports and generating independent medical opinions (IMO)
\n

The examinations may be completed in-person (in a clinic setting), in the examinee’s home, telephonically, at large event settings for the Reserve Health Readiness Program, or using telehealth platforms.

You will be traveling (up to 30%) to provide physical examinations for veterans and service members in multiple locations throughout the country.

All travel expenses are covered and a per diem will be received. 

Pay Range:

Salary: $110,000-$160,000 (based on years of experience and education) with a potential annual bonus up to 30% . 

Work Schedule, Location, What to expect:  

\n
• Generally Mon-Fri 8:00 am-5:00 pm with a 1-hour lunch from 12:00-1:00 pm. Possible infrequent weekends/evening coverage depending on clinic needs but max hours per week will be 40.
\n
• 30% national travel
\n
• 3 weeks onboarding / training
\n
• 4-5 VA patients daily with 4 hours of admin time, 10-12 patients daily with other lines of business
\n
• We will pay for licensing in 12 additional states and CME costs.
\n

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  

\n
• Physical examinations for the following lines of business: Department of Defense, Department of Justice, and Department of Labor.
\n
• Occupational health exams to include pre- and post-employment and annual physicals.
\n
• Generalist approach to multi-system disability evaluations to include evaluations of conditions specific to the military operational environment like Gulf War and Prisoner of War
\n
• Most examinations are in-person evaluations, but some may be completed virtually or by medical record review only.
\n
• Housebound physical examinations
\n
• Completion of Veterans Benefits Administration Disability Benefit Questionnaires (DBQs)
\n
• Provide primary medical evaluations to include, but not limited to, initial review of laboratory, pulmonary function and ECG studies Documentation of examinee records in appropriate systems.
\n
• Collaboration with other professional and support staff as needed and communicate with internal and client team members in determining the most effective and evidence-based way forward on behalf of the examinee populations
\n

• From a primary care perspective, be able to fully assess examinee health status through physical examinations.

• Analytical ability necessary to evaluate and determine medical opinions.
\n
• Technically competent with computers/tablets to include proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and using Electronic Medical Records
\n
• Knowledge of workplace health and safety concepts and OSHA regulations
\n
• Must be able to receive a medical clearance that may consist of passing an N95 respirator fit test, pass a Tuberculosis/TB test and receive a Hepatitis A/B vaccine series or pass a Hepatitis A/B Titeror test.  
\n

Required Education and/or Experience: (includes certificate & licenses)  

\n
• Unrestricted State medical licensure without limitations to perform full scope of authorized practice
\n
• National Licensing with ANCC or AANP
\n
• Valid DEA license
\n
• Completed Education and training in an US accredited, post-baccalaureate (Masters) 
\n
• Minimum 3 years of post-graduate primary care experience
\n
• Valid CPR or BLS certification
\n
• Ability to pass a medical clearance
\n
• Ability to pass a NACI clearance
\n

Preferred Experience:  

\n
• Specialty/sub-specialty clinical experience.
\n
• Experience conducting occupational/disability medical examinations.
\n
