Shift: On Call/Fill In - Nights and weekends with some day shifts

Role and Responsibilities: The
Safety Supervisor/Coordinator will be responsible for the implementation of safety engineering policies and programs that embrace a range of matters directly or indirectly concerned with safety and protection. Assignments also include responsibility for the technical adequacy of plans, designs, and specifications for improvement of safety programs within a facility.
- Perform inspections and safety audits.
- Maintain daily site safety log and all other safety related activities including feedback from the competent persons, safety deficiencies, and corrective actions taken at each worksite.
- Complete hazard and job safety analysis to ensure proper use of machinery and equipment, personal protective equipment, and procedures.
- Conduct accident investigations to ascertain causes and to develop preventive safety measures.
Skills & Experience Qualifications:
- Minimum two (2) years’ safety and railway experience
- Minimum ninety (90) days’ prior Right of Way (ROW) experience with flagging and diversions of service. (MTA Track training card is not needed)
Education and Certification Requirements:
- LIRR, MNR, AMTRAK and CSXT Track Safety Training (Preferred)
- OSHA 30 Hour
- NYC Department of Buildings 40 Hr. Site Safety Manager Course
- NYS DOL Asbestos Inspector
- SSPC C3/C5
- ASSP Membership

New York City Equal Pay Disclaimer Infinite Consulting Corp carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s experience, education, and training. The estimated hourly range for this position is $50.00 – $55.00 and full benefits.
