While this role is largely based in Miami, there is a
preference for candidates based in New York , who can cover New York properties as needed and travel regularly between Miami and New York.

Position Overview Our client is seeking a dynamic and energetic Estate Concierge to oversee the management and operations of a private residence in Miami, FL. This multifaceted role combines the sophistication of a trained butler with the agility of a skilled project manager, requiring high emotional intelligence and adept problem-solving abilities. The Estate Concierge will handle a range of responsibilities, from traditional butler duties such as opening packages, running errands, and managing household inventory, to packing and unpacking suitcases. They will consistently uphold the family's high standards throughout the home, skillfully balancing routine tasks with readiness to tackle such things as emergency preparations when needed.
In addition to these duties, a substantial portion of this role will involve
organizing and managing household systems , with a keen eye for recognizing when things are out of order. The candidate will take on the responsibility for
clothing inventory management , tracking items across multiple residences and ensuring everything is uploaded and tagged correctly by location. They will decide on the system to manage these inventories, ensuring accurate tracking and organization across all properties.
The position also involves packing and unpacking for travel, ensuring smooth transitions between homes, and maintaining the household's cleanliness when cleaners are unavailable or time is tight.
The position demands robust maintenance management skills to coordinate timelines efficiently and manage service providers. Quick to address issues, the Estate Concierge knows exactly who to contact locally for any situation and will expertly source and orchestrate a wide array of professional services. Trained in modern, app-based technology solutions like Asana, the Estate Concierge will ensure that all household processes are executed with efficiency and precision. The ideal candidate will be committed to the highest standards of hospitality and organization while guaranteeing that all interactions with the family and their guests are approached with grace, skill, and unwavering professionalism.
Job Responsibilities - Comprehensive Household Management : Manage daily operations with the precision of a butler, ensuring all aspects of the home are impeccably maintained. This includes overseeing detailed cleaning, laundry care, and perfect table settings. Handle everything from opening packages to sophisticated guest interactions, embodying warmth and professionalism.
- Clothing Inventory Management : Develop and manage a system for tracking clothing items across residences. Ensure all items are properly uploaded, tagged, and organized by location, maintaining up-to-date records of all clothing inventories.
- Packing and Unpacking : Oversee packing and unpacking for family travel, ensuring belongings are properly organized and transported between homes.
- Emergency Preparedness and Vendor Coordination : Be adept at emergency preparedness, maintaining readiness for any situation. Know who to call for everything from plumbing issues to unexpected maintenance needs, ensuring the household runs smoothly without disruptions.
- Dynamic Service and Hospitality : Provide high-level hospitality, managing and executing all aspects of service from food and beverage duties to welcoming guests. The role requires flexibility and a high energy level, capable of adapting to the family's dynamic lifestyle and managing varied tasks with enthusiasm.
- Tidying and Light Cleaning : Step in to tidy up the home and maintain cleanliness when the timing or availability of cleaners doesn't align with the family's needs.
- Administrative and Operational Excellence : Collaborate closely with family office staff and other household employees to ensure seamless operation and communication within the home. Manage schedules, oversee vendors, and ensure all tasks are executed with a high degree of quality and attention to detail.
Qualifications and Requirements - A minimum of five years of experience in a similar role, with a preference for candidates who have blended high-end hospitality with private household management.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to manage household operations independently.
- Must be highly organized, with a proven track record of managing complex household schedules and demands, including inventory systems.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to maintain professionalism under pressure are essential.
- Knowledgeable in modern home technology and comfortable managing a tech-forward environment.
- Based in MIAMI OR NEW YORK with flexibility to travel to between homes as required.
Additional Information This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $165,000-$200,000 depending on experience, plus comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision.
The work schedule is typically Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, with flexibility required for occasional weekends and events. This live-off position is based in Miami, FL, with periodic travel to New York City required. Sorensen Staffing
