Job Description

Afternoon, Evening and Saturday Availability Required. Every day, the donors you meet will motivate you. The high-quality plasma you collect will become life-changing medicines. Here, a commitment to customer service and quality is expected. You will report to the Plasma Center Manager and will perform as a plasma donor screener and perform phlebotomy to support plasma center operations. You will answer phones, greet and focus on donors, ensuring safety of donors and team. Screen new and repeat donors, take and record donor vital signs and finger stick results. Use Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, maintain accurate records, and coordinate donor compensation. Help identify operational opportunities for continuous improvement and initiate changes to center processes using company approved procedures. Work a variety of shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. Requirements include high school diploma or equivalent, ability to walk/stand entire shift, work evenings/weekends/holidays, ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, reach above shoulders and below knees, ability to lift up to 5 lbs and occasionally up to 32 lbs (rarely 50 lbs), fine motor coordination, depth perception, ability to hear equipment from a distance, prolonged glove wear due to exposure to bloodborne pathogens, and 1+ years experience in customer or patient facing role is helpful.
