Practice/Office Manager - Longs Peak Family Practice and Sports Medicine
Location: Longmont, CO
Job Type: Full-Time, In-Office
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Starting Salary: $75,000 (negotiable depending on experience and skill set)

Longs Peak Family Practice and Sports Medicine is a privately owned clinic and one of the last multi-provider private practices along the Front Range, where careers and patient care flourish. Since 1984, we have specialized in primary care and sports medicine, creating long-term relationships with both our patients and staff.
Position Overview:
This is a rare opportunity to onboard as the new Practice Manager, overseeing the daily operations of the clinic while working closely with the owners to help shape and prepare the vision for the clinic’s future in the ever-changing landscape of healthcare. You will be set up for success with a comprehensive onboarding process, working alongside our retiring Practice Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day administrative and clinical operations of the practice.
- Supervise office staff and ensure efficient patient flow.
- Handle scheduling, billing, and human resource functions.
- Familiarity with complying with Medicare/Medicaid billing practices and negotiating contracts with private insurers.
- Maintain compliance with medical regulations and practice standards.
- Oversee patient relations and ensure high satisfaction.
- Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to support excellent patient care.
- Partner with the owners to adapt and strategize for the future of healthcare.
Qualifications:
- Mandatory 5 years of practice/office manager experience, preferably in primary care.
- Expertise in accounting, billing, and coding.
- Knowledge in legal, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Experience with overhead and expense management, marketing, and strategic planning.
- Strong IT skills and familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Ability to handle software and hardware issues.
- Acting as liaison between EMR vendor and various healthcare platforms.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
