We are seeking a Medical Assistant Instructor who is passionate about teaching and shaping the future of healthcare. Our instructor of choice will have excellent people skills, and be able to provide students with the skills and knowledge they will need to effectively function in the role of medical assistant in any practice. Both full-time and part-time positions are available.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Effectively present in-class lectures, demonstrate good hands-on lab skills that are consistent with course syllabus, policies and procedures related to the program.
• Provide students with timely feedback on academic progress and be able to address any concern registered by students where applicable.
• Demonstrate expertise in the medical assisting profession.
• Ensure all classes and lab sessions meet scheduled duration and learning objectives.
• Adhere to all institutional policies and ensure students comply with dress code, attendance, and professionalism standards.
• Collaborate with the Director to address student attendance, academic, or behavioral concerns promptly.
• Provide timely and constructive feedback to students regarding academic performance and clinical skills
• Serve as a role model for professional behavior, integrity, and compassionate care.
• Foster a professional and supportive classroom and clinical environment conducive to learning.

• Assess and evaluate student performance objectively through skills demonstrations, exams, and participation.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of three year's of experience as a medical assistant in a clinical/office environment
• Active certification or registration
• Previous teaching experience strongly desired but not required
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Experience in phlebotomy, immunizations, venipuncture, injections, pharmacology, EKG, would care, vital signs, etc.
• Documentation skills, computer skills, administrative competency, EHR, practice management knowledge helpful
• Active CPR/BLS certification through American Heart Association (AHA)
