As a tutor on the Varsity Tutors Platform, you’ll have the flexibility to set your own schedule, earn competitive rates, and make a real impact on students’ learning journeys—all from the comfort of your home. Responsibilities Provide online Math tutoring to students through the Varsity Tutors Live Learning Platform. Set your own schedule and tutor remotely. Earn base contract rates starting at $18/hour and increase for specialized subjects, with potential to reach up to $40/hour for the same student sessions. Be matched with students suited to your teaching style and use the AI-powered Tutor Copilot features to enhance sessions. Get paid up to twice per week; Varsity Tutors handles payments and invoicing for tutoring sessions. Qualifications Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style. Expertise in Math and the ability to explain concepts clearly. Ability to personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles. Priority given to those with tutoring or teaching experience and/or graduate-level education.
