Job Description
We are a busy, service focused marina and boat dealer looking for hard working Marine Technician with a positive attitude. This is a full time, year-round position.
Job duties to include:
Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, diagnose and repair the mechanical, electrical, plumbing and any other equipment and/or systems found on pleasure boats. Perform such repairs responsibly with care and pride of workmanship. Total honesty and integrity are a must when taking care of our customers’ boats.
Perform seasonal winterization and spring decommissioning.
Operate boats on the water to conduct diagnosing and testing.
Ramping and trailering of boats. Operate boat handling equipment.
Computer skills and use of diagnostic equipment and tools

Requirements –
High school diploma or equivalent.
Pass pre-employment drug screen, physical, background check.
Prefer formal training and experience in marine technology with experience with Mercury outboards, Yamaha outboards, Mercruiser inboards and sterndrives, Volvo Penta sterndrives.
Must meet our insurance company’s requirements for eligibility to drive company vehicles and have reliable daily transportation back and forth to work every day.
Must be able to work in all weather conditions. Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Ability to perform general physical activities that require heavy lifting, use of your whole body, climbing, lifting, balancing and handling of materials.
Strong communication skills.
Problem solving skills a must.
Must have your own hand tools
Must be able to swim as we are on the water daily.
