MedAdventures is seeking a local contract nurse RN Home Health for a local contract nursing job in Loveland, Colorado.

Registered Nurse (RN) – Home Care | Contract
Location: Loveland Center, CO

Contract Dates: Starting 12/2/2025 – through mid-February
Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts per week, rotating every 3rd weekend

 

Position Overview

MedAdventures is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for a Home Care contract assignment in Loveland, CO . The RN will provide in-home skilled nursing care to elderly participants, working closely with an interdisciplinary care team to support holistic, patient-centered outcomes. Physical presence at participant homes is required.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver skilled nursing care to clients in their residences
• Conduct assessments and reassessments to determine ongoing care needs
• Administer medications, manage treatments, and monitor for side effects
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams including PT, OT, SLP, and social workers
• Educate participants and caregivers on medication, treatments, and chronic disease management
• Schedule and coordinate specialist appointments and hospital transitions
• Supervise LPNs and HHAs per regulatory standards (every 30/14 days)
• Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation and progress notes
• Participate in care planning meetings, peer review, and quality management

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ASN); Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Active RN license in Colorado
• Current BLS and First Aid certification
• Personal transportation , valid driver’s license, and proof of auto insurance
• At least 1 year of experience working with the elderly or in home care
• Experience using Epic EMR preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• BSN or higher
• Certification in Gerontological Nursing
• 3+ years of healthcare experience, ideally in geriatrics
• Bilingual (Spanish, Russian, Punjabi, or Hmong) is a plus
