Job Description

Our client, a well-established freight forwarding company based in Medley, FL, is seeking an experienced LCL Export Manager to join their team. This is a full-time, on-site position that requires a strong background in Less than Container Load (LCL) exports and consolidation. The ideal candidate will be an expert in managing the entire export process and ensuring smooth and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all LCL export operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing of shipments.
• Coordinate and execute consolidation of cargo to maximize space and minimize costs.
• Collaborate with carriers, warehouses, and other logistics partners to ensure efficient and effective export processes.
• Prepare and verify export documentation, including bills of lading, export declarations, and packing lists.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with international shipping regulations and standards.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing excellent customer service and support.
• Analyze and optimize export processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Lead and train a team of export coordinators and support staff.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in LCL export operations within the freight forwarding industry.
• Strong experience in cargo consolidation and space optimization.
• Excellent understanding of export regulations, documentation, and compliance.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing a team.
• Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Experience with logistics software is a plus.
