JR Financial Analyst
Pine Grove, PA- 17963
Shift Timings : 8AM-4PM
Pay Rate: $20.00/hr - $ 21.00/hr

Summary

• This position is responsible for analyzing financials through collecting, monitoring, and studying data in addition to recommending actions to take against discoverable data.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of the general ledger that supports the financial statements.

Essential Functions:
• Daily and weekly production report outs
• Journal entry preparation, entry to ledger and month end close duties.
• Ad hoc projects as assigned.
• Internal audit requirements
• Continuous Improvement
• Assist with yearly budgets.
• Assist with semi-annual physical inventories.
• Account Reconciliation Preparation
• SOX Testing & Reconciliation Preparation
• Performs additional duties as requested, needed, or assigned.


Ability To

• Read, write, and speak and understand in English, to interpret documents such as specifications, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, reports, business correspondence, regulatory and procedure manuals.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with co-workers, Supervisors and Managements.
• Work independently with little or no supervision and be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and a team player.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram record data or schedule form.
• Effectively organize, set priorities, schedule assigned work; oversee multiple and rapidly changing priorities.

• Proficient with Microsoft Windows/Excel/Word.
• SAP experience preferred.

• SOX knowledge preferred.

Education

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Bachelors' degree in accounting or finance position-related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1 to 2 years finance/accounting experience.

Skilled knowledge or direct experience in cost accounting processes is a plus
