Job Description

We are looking for an IT Manager, Business Intelligence and Analytics to join our growing team! In this role, you will lead the execution of BI and analytics initiatives that deliver consistent, reliable, and actionable insights across the organization. You will be accountable for driving the delivery of consolidated, organization-wide metrics, ensuring data is accessible, accurate, and valuable to decision-makers. You will oversee the BI team’s work in reporting, dashboard development, and analytics enablement while ensuring adherence to best practices and governance standards. You will focus on turning business requirements into scalable BI solutions and ensuring successful execution of the enterprise analytics roadmap.

As an IT Manager, Business Intelligence and Analytics, your duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Manage the BI & Analytics team to deliver high-quality reporting, dashboards, and analytics capabilities
  • Lead the execution of the enterprise BI and analytics roadmap, ensuring delivery aligns with business requirements and governance standards
  • Oversee the development and adoption of standardized enterprise metrics and KPI frameworks across business units
  • Partner with stakeholders to understand analytics needs, set priorities, and ensure timely delivery of solutions
  • Collaborate with Data Engineering to ensure data pipelines, data models, and semantic layers meet BI requirements
  • Manage BI tools and platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker), ensuring scalability, performance, and user adoption
  • Establish and enforce BI development standards, including version control, documentation, and release management
  • Oversee vendor management for BI and analytics platforms, including sourcing, contracting, and performance oversight
  • Monitor BI solution adoption, user satisfaction, and business impact, making recommendations for improvement
  • Provide leadership, mentoring, and performance management for BI team members
Qualifications

WHAT IT TAKES TO CATCH YOUR EYE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field
  • 7+ years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, or data strategy execution
  • 3+ years of experience managing BI teams with demonstrated success in delivery execution
  • Experience delivering enterprise analytics and consolidated KPI frameworks across multiple business units
  • Strong understanding of BI tools and platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or QlikSense
  • Familiarity with data warehousing, dimensional modeling, and data governance principles
  • Proven ability to influence business and technical stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Experience delivering BI solutions in complex, cross-functional environments

BONUS POINTS FOR:

  • Experience deploying analytics solutions in cloud-based environments (GCP, Azure, AWS)
  • Hands-on familiarity with BigQuery and Power BI
  • Knowledge of AI/ML concepts and their integration into BI solutions
  • Background in telecom, utilities, or other large-scale, data-rich industries
