VS is flexible and works with the volunteer's availability and schedule! Many folks looking for some extra help around the house live with chronic pain or mobility issues, which prevents them from keeping up with vacuuming, dusting, and sweeping. If you are looking to donate several hours of your time a month towards helping someone tidy up their home, this may be the perfect opportunity for you! We also work with low-income adults with disabilities in the community who are in search of some house work assistance. A couple hours of light house work can make a huge positive impact in someone's ability to continue safe, independent living.
