Position Overview: We are seeking an energetic and hands-on Shop Manager to lead our gelato and coffee shop in Williamsburg. This full-time position offers the opportunity to manage a dynamic team of baristas in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. The shop operates from 8 AM to 12:30 AM, and while tips are pooled, you can expect to earn at least $25/hour including tips. This is an exciting role for someone with experience in quick service food or beverage, retail, or hospitality, looking to grow with a company that is rapidly expanding.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise up to 5 baristas at a time, ensuring smooth daily operations
• Assist baristas during busy periods, maintaining a hands-on leadership style
• Oversee customer service, ensuring a welcoming and efficient atmosphere
• Take daily inventory and monitor stock levels
• Handle scheduling based on business needs
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the shop
• Provide training and guidance to new team members
• Maintain a positive work environment that fosters growth and team collaboration

Qualifications:

• Experience supervising or managing staff in a customer service or retail environment
• Preferred experience in quick service food or beverage, coffee shop, fast food, or related industries
• Retail or hospitality experience would also be a strong fit
• Must have strong organizational and leadership skills
• Able to work both weekend days (weekend availability is required)
• Must be hands-on and proactive in addressing challenges and supporting the team

Schedule & Compensation:

• Full-time: 5 days per week, 40 hours, based on business needs
• Weekend availability required (must work both weekend days)
• Pay: At least $25/hour including tips
