Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Full-Stack Web Developer (React + Node.js) to join an R&D project in the healthcare domain. You will work on developing a secure web platform with a user-friendly interface and a personal cabinet for storing and accessing medical data.

This is an impactful role in a small, agile team where your contributions will directly support innovation in early cancer diagnostics.

Customer Overview:

Our client is a European research-driven med-tech company founded by a multidisciplinary group of scientists and healthcare professionals. Since 2017, they have been combining expertise in oncology, chemistry, and data science to deliver patient-oriented diagnostic solutions.

Today, they operate as an innovative SME backed by an international network of urology and IVD experts. The team actively collaborates with clinicians and researchers to bring cutting-edge solutions into real-world medical practice.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement the front-end interface using  React.js to ensure a seamless user experience.
• Develop and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using  Node.js .
• Integrate data storage, authentication, and user cabinet functionality securely and efficiently.
• Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers, data engineers, and healthcare experts to ensure platform reliability and compliance.
• Optimize performance for both client and server-side applications.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement of the development process.

Skills/Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience as a Full-Stack Developer with a strong focus on React and Node.js.
• Proficiency in  React.js (hooks, state management, component architecture) and front-end tooling (Webpack, Babel, etc.).
• Strong skills in  Node.js , Express.js (or similar frameworks) for building scalable backend services and APIs.
• Solid understanding of  RESTful APIs , web security, and authentication (JWT, OAuth).
• Experience with  databases (DynamoDB or RDS), data modeling, and query optimization.
• Familiarity with  Docker or other containerization tools for deployment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced team.

Nice to have:

• Experience with healthcare-related web applications or data-sensitive platforms.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms AWS for hosting and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience integrating third-party APIs or microservices.
