About the Role:

As a Foreman, you will play a vital role in our operations team, overseeing various network infrastructure and cabling projects at assigned sites. Your leadership, customer engagement, and operational management skills will be crucial to our success.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Report to the onsite Project Manager and collaborate effectively.
  • Adhere to project schedules and directives set by the Project Manager.
  • Gather updates from Leads and present them to the Project Manager weekly.
  • Participate in weekly sync meetings with the Project Manager.
  • Monitor project milestones and ensure productivity standards are met.
  • Maintain safe working conditions on site.
  • Coordinate work execution with Field Engineers and other contractors.
  • Oversee and manage labor allocation on your projects.
  • Conduct quality checks on completed work with the QAQC Specialist.
  • Ensure all work aligns with customer quality standards.
  • Assess the strengths and weaknesses of your team and provide training recommendations.
  • Ensure all Leads follow customer rules and guidelines.
  • Validate project data, tracking quality, efficiency, and delivery metrics.
  • Confirm all materials required for project completion are available.
  • May attend design and build review meetings with customers.
  • Support both new deployments and live site requests.
  • Engage with emerging technologies and software alongside project management.
  • Ensure compliance with safety certifications during and after installations.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of five years of experience in cabling installation and managing large-scale projects.
  • Proven ability to lead multiple teams.
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills.
  • Capability to forecast manpower and labor needs effectively.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and Project).
  • Document lessons learned from each project thoroughly.
  • Exhibit strong leadership skills and effective communication abilities.
  • Experience in reading and understanding technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Capable of managing midsized to large projects independently.
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledgeable about infrastructure builds and components.
  • Familiar with copper and fiber installations, terminations, and troubleshooting.
  • Certification as a CFTT and CFI, or equivalents from organizations like BICSI or FOA.
  • Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills.
  • Understand local code installation standards.
  • Document individual team member growth and development.
  • Have a clear understanding of job safety requirements.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to walk, stand, and bend for extended periods.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Dexterity to operate necessary equipment and technology.
  • Able to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Experience pulling cables and working at heights.
