Description of the role: Fast paced, busy service shops are on the lookout for the best! Service advisors are such a vital part of our dealership, a multi-tasker, customer service superstar who is the liaison between our technicians and our customers. Fast paced, challenging and rewarding!
Responsibilities: - Greet customers and provide excellent customer service
- Two years of relevant Service Advisor experience
- Dealership franchise experience is preferred
- Ford certifications required
- Listen to customer concerns and accurately document them
- Schedule appointments for vehicle services
- Provide estimates for repairs and services
- Communicate with technicians to ensure timely completion of work
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and payments received
- Process cash and credit card transactions
- Assist with inventory management and ordering of parts and supplies
Requirements: - Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance procedures
- Familiarity with air brake, tire service, shocks struts, suspension, oil change, transmission, brake repair, auto body repair, and diesel engine repair is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Cash handling experience is preferred
