The Field Service Engineer will provide advanced technical support, commissioning, and optimization of systems and equipment for clients worldwide.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Execute start-up, commissioning, and performance optimization of advanced electrical and mechanical systems
• Conduct detailed equipment inspections to verify proper installation and operational readiness
• Analyze performance data during trials, ensuring systems meet or exceed operational standards
• Develop and deliver customized training programs (both hands-on and classroom) for customer personnel
• Provide technical support for preventive and corrective maintenance strategies tailored to each project
• Review specifications and implement operational requirements to align with customer performance criteria
• Collaborate with design teams, offering field markups and feedback for “as-built” revisions
• Coordinate and oversee on-site activities, including vendor and contractor performance
• Prepare and present detailed technical reports, capturing equipment performance and project milestones

Required Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field
• 5+ years of field service or relevant hands-on engineering experience
• Strong ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings, along with operation and maintenance manuals
• Proficiency with control panels, motor starters, AC/DC drives, and instrumentation.
• Proficiency with high-speed rotating equipment
• Experience with programmable controllers and operator interface terminals is highly desirable
• Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for engaging with teams and customers
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
• Team-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving and customer service
• Willingness to travel extensively (up to 75%, including international and long-term assignments)
