About the job

A well-established and mission-driven nonprofit organization in Boston, is seeking an experienced and proactive Executive Assistant to support their President. This individual will be a key partner in helping the organization advance its strategic priorities and long-term vision.

The ideal candidate will have 3–7 years of experience providing high-level administrative support, excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment. This role requires someone who can manage complex schedules and competing demands with discretion, clarity, and calm under pressure.

Position Highlights:

  • Serve as the primary administrative partner to the President
  • Provide comprehensive calendar management and schedule prioritization
  • Coordinate internal and external meetings, board engagements, and special events
  • Prepare and edit presentations, memos, reports, and donor/stakeholder communications
  • Track follow-ups and proactively manage next steps from meetings and projects
  • Serve as a liaison to staff, board members, partners, and other key stakeholders
  • Assist with long-term strategic planning initiatives and ad-hoc projects

Qualifications:

  • 3–7 years of direct experience supporting executive leadership.
  • Strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent judgment, professionalism, and discretion in handling confidential matters
  • Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently
  • Self-directed, reliable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools
