The opportunity

Delaware North Gaming is hiring an Executive Housekeeper to join our team at The Sheraton in Nashua, New Hampshire. The Executive Housekeeper is responsible for leading and managing the housekeeping department to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction throughout the property. This role oversees all housekeeping operations, including staff supervision, inventory control, budgeting, and compliance with health and safety regulations. The Executive Housekeeper plays a critical role in maintaining the hotel’s reputation for excellence and delivering an exceptional guest experience.

Pay

Minimum – Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $50,400 - $68,000 / year

In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. The advertised pay range represents what we believe at the time of this job posting, that we would be willing to pay for this position. Only in special circumstances, where a candidate has education, training, or experience that far exceeds the requirements for the position, would we consider paying higher than the stated range. What will you do?
  • Lead and manage a team of Housekeepers, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management and evaluation
  • Maintain an inventory of supplies; order and distribute supplies and equipment
  • Ensure that all reports, orders, and projects are completed
  • Monitor and control expenses and payroll, while ensuring proper resources are in place
  • Conduct housekeeping inspections and take corrective action as needed

More about you
  • Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in housekeeping within a hotel or resort setting
  • Working knowledge of various cleaning utensils, dryers, washers, tools, fixtures, and cleaning solvents
  • Knowledge of how to use Material Safety Data Sheets for cleaning solvents
  • No degree required
  • Must be at least 21 years of age

Physical requirements
  • Frequent standing, walking, climbing of stairs, bending, stooping, reaching, kneeling, and carrying; use of hands to operate cleaning equipment and complete scrubbing/washing duties
  • Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Visual acuity is sufficient to inspect the cleanliness of rooms and surfaces
