Job Details

Responsibilities:

As our Electrical Estimator, you will be responsible for a wide range of duties, including but not limited to:

1. Preparing detailed cost estimates of electrical systems for construction projects based on engineering drawings, technical specifications, and other project documentation.

2. Reviewing and interpreting electrical plans and specifications to determine the scope of work and to develop cost estimates.

3. Utilizing estimating software such as BlueBeam to develop and maintain accurate and comprehensive cost databases.

4. Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and clients to understand project requirements and to provide accurate and competitive cost estimates.

5. Analyzing and adjusting estimates as project parameters change, and providing updates to project managers and clients as needed.

6. Participating in bid reviews and presentations to clients.

7. Staying updated with the latest industry trends, market conditions, and new technologies in electrical systems and construction to ensure that estimates are accurate and competitive.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Electrical Estimator position will have the following qualifications:

1. A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

2. A minimum of 3 years of experience as an Electrical Estimator in the construction industry.

3. Proficiency in using estimating software such as Bluebeam.

4. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, construction methods, and industry standards.

5. Excellent analytical and mathematical skills, with a keen eye for detail.

6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.

7. Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and meet deadlines.

8. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.

9. A commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
