We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Controls Engineer to join our innovative team in Texarkana, TX. This pivotal role will provide technical leadership across multiple departments, focusing on enhancing safety, quality, productivity, and cost reduction through advanced electrical and control systems.
Key Responsibilities• Spearhead electro-mechanical troubleshooting and implement cutting-edge technologies
• Develop and execute continuous improvement projects to optimize plant performance
• Design and update electrical schematics and maintain software backups
• Train maintenance personnel on complex electrical and mechanical systems
• Conduct Root Cause Failure Analyses (RCFAs) on equipment malfunctions
• Support capital projects from conception to implementation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Champion safety initiatives and ensure compliance with company policies
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or related field
• 4+ years of experience in process control systems within manufacturing environments
• Expertise in PLC programming, DCS, and AC/DC drive platforms
• Strong knowledge of safety instrumented systems and process control networks
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, data acquisition systems, and quality control software
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and lead teams effectively
